Banana Bread...

Tony and I made our first batch of banana bread and it was so good! We ate both loaves in like two days! Okay, Tony ate like two loaves in two days! It's always yummy to find new things to bake!

To Prince Liam

Some of you know that at the end of next month I will run my first 5k for the Livestrong Challenge.

The childhood of Liam Witt came to a sudden halt when his family learned he had neuroblastoma, a rare cancer of the nervous system. From February of 2007 to February of 2008 he had endured countless scans, an 11 1/2-hour surgery, 14 sessions of radiation, five rounds of chemotherapy, and a series of antibody treatments.

He just turned 4 years old.

Liam has inspired me in many ways, what a strong, young individual. I have decided that I will dedicate my race to him. I am already training but he is on my mind and when I receive my yellow shirt for the race I will write "For The Mighty Prince Liam" on it as he will inspire me to try my hardest!

My race and my fight against cancer will be dedicated to Liam.

Mind Of A Maniac...

Do you ever watch the time of something go by and you wish you could take a second back?
Just a second?

Today I was multi-tasking a million things before going to the movies and I was doing all the things mindlessly as I had already planned them out in my mind earlier. I was proud of myself as I paid all my bills, balanced my check book, blah, blah blah. As I was running out the door I ran to the mail box to mail one of the bills and as I was letting it go into the "Mail Out" slot I glanced at it right before I dropped it, let go and then noticed as it fell into the dark, locked trench that I never actually put a stamp on it.

WHAT DO I DO?
I became frantic, I had just mailed something for the first time in my life without a stamp!!!

I know!
I ran back to the house (quick before anyone else mailed something on top of my "stamp-less" mail)
I found a bright purple sticky note and taped a stamp (still on its backing) to the side of it and wrote a note:

Dear postperson,
(can't put post"man" or post"woman" don't want to offend anyone)
I forgot to put a stamp on my mail! Please put this on for me!
Thank You!!!
(I then put my name and address sticker an the bottom so the postperson could identify what this crazy note goes with)

And then put the sticky note into the mail box gently so it would land on my mail which was sitting right on top of everything

So what do I want to know?

Did the postperson actually do this?
Would they help me out?

I'd like to know your thoughts...
I'll give you an update on whether or not my bill gets mailed and paid.
